Safe Working in Education (SWE) - What People Say
Harrow College worked closely with Peter Coulson and Steve Graham to develop a new course specifically for the education sector that would meet the standards required for accreditation by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. This was successfully achieved and over 100 staff have passed this qualification to date.
"The work and enthusiasm Steve and Peter put into developing and delivering this training has created a course that staff enjoy and one that generates real value for the College. Staff are very appreciative of the award of a recognised external transferable qualification. Overall this training has helped develop a cross college Health and Safety culture to a greater degree than we expected. All new staff in identified posts are now required to take this training."

"We found the course very useful and helpful. The content was very good and clearly explained in simple terms. The handouts provide a useful reference for use in the future. A good two days spent in training."

“Health & Safety is a very difficult area to deliver, Steve delivers it in a way which is clear, and in a way which gives me a better understanding and fresh ideas on how to approach any concerns I may have”
